However, if a village generates some buildings inside of a badlands biome, any floating platform surrounding village buildings generate with red sandstone below red sand. It must be crafted from the red sand in badlands biomes. Orange terracotta replaces what would be the sandstone layer for red sand, so red sandstone cannot be found naturally unless from village floating structure. Regular sandstone generates in deserts and beaches, compressed underneath several blocks of sand.
